When choosing colors for your home, consider the environments that you are most comfortable in. If you’re in love with the beautiful colors of fall and find joy when you’re surrounded by colorful fallen leaves… perhaps you should look at bringing some autumn hues into your home. Here are a few of my favorite fall finish palettes to set the stage.

Fallen Autumn Leaves Color Palette

There’s a reason tourists plan Fall foliage tours. Fall leaves are a vibrant, earthy, and absolutely beautiful example of nature and remind us of the circle of life in an inspiring way.

This Fall-themed kitchen design concept was inspired by fallen Maple leaves and delightful acorns. The Dura Supreme Cabinetry shows the Avery door style in a Personal Paint Match to Sherwin-Williams’ “Flower Pot” paint color (SW 6334) paired with samples of the “Alabaster” and “Praline” stains on Knotty Alder.

This Fall-inspired color palette combines an enticing true-brown stain called “Feather” on a rustic Knotty Alder wood species paired with “Mushroom” paint, a natural muted white finish as well as Curated Color, “Evergreen Fog” by Sherwin-Williams for a splash of earthy vibes. Add an extra burst of Fall colors by using the colors of “HoneyPot” and “Red Barn” by Sherwin-Williams for decor, accents walls,  furniture pieces, etc.

Green Gourds of Glory! That’s a Pretty Color Palette!

Glorious light green gourds are the root of inspiration for this stunning kitchen design concept. The Chroma Inset door features Dura Supreme’s Curated Color, “Evergreen Fog” by Sherwin-Williams paired with our soft “Pearl” paint and a bold, black “Onyx” stain on Quarter-Sawn White Oak for a dramatic contrast.

A Cozy Autumn Kitchen Color Palette

Inspired by a flurry of fall leaves, weathered barn wood, and a hot cup of cocoa on a cool fall day, this finish palette includes Dura Supreme’s toasty warm, “Cappuccino” stain on Cherry contrasted by “Putty” paint and a dark “Onyx” stain on Cherry. This combination of finishes is warm, rustic, and destined to be a classic.

Spicy Cider-Inspired Color Palette

Thoughts of Fall most always lead to apples and cider, and Dura Supreme’s “Cider” stained finish does not disappoint! Marrying the browns from the cinnamon sticks and the warm tones from apples, we get a finish perfect for pulling the best out of the character-rich Cherry wood.

As The Garden Season Comes to A Close

The garden’s last blooms surviving through another chilly fall day inspire a cool combination of Dura Supreme’s “Coriander” stained finish on Knotty Alder and a soft “Dove” painted cabinetry. Accent with splashes of Sherwin-Williams “Ravishing Coral” and “Evergreen Fog” on your accent cabinets, decor, and accent walls can add just the right touch of elegance to your space.

Modern Pumpkin Kitchen Color Palette

Are you looking for something fun, festive, and modern? Is Halloween your favorite holiday? Then I’ve got just the right color palette for you! Take a look at this adorable pumpkin-inspired kitchen design concept. The primary cabinets will be a light “Alabaster” stain on Maple with a soft orange kitchen island in a Personal Paint Match to Sherwin-Williams’ “Sunset” paint with dramatic accents black accents for floating shelves and beverage center in the “Skyline Walnut” Laminate.

A Whispy Wheat Field of Colors

An open wheat field blowing in the wind on a cool autumn morning reminds us of fresh air and healthy eating. A Contemporary kitchen design with sleek simple lines using a combination of Dura Supreme’s “Mist” Matte Foil, “Aloe” Matte Foil, and “Coriander” stain on Straight Grain Oak cabinets can create a design that feels open, fresh, and familiar.
